If you've completed the Reiki First Degree course, you'll be able to do a lot more than just treat yourself and your loved ones. This article provides details on using reiki in groups, benefits, and how to deliver Reiki through the aura. The best advice is to experiment and have fun with Reiki because it can take a lifetime to learn all it offers.
Most people consider a Reiki treatment from one person a lovely experience, but two Reiki Practitioners can treat one client, which obviously increases the amount of energy entering the recipient. Each Practitioner treats one side of the body, so their hand positions are complementary to each other, and both change hand positions at the same time, so there is no interruption in the flow of Reiki.
Both Practitioners should follow the procedures below as they work along one side of the body. Each hand position should be kept for five minutes, thus twenty minutes for the front and ten minutes for the back. Because two persons are channeling Reiki simultaneously, the energy rises exponentially. Therefore a half-hour treatment with two Practitioners is equivalent to an hour with one.
Meeting other Reiki practitioners is enjoyable, but there are additional advantages. It may be a wonderful place to try out new ideas or exchange successful ones with other practitioners. The more confident and experienced group members can assist individuals scared to utilize Reiki on their loved ones until they have practiced. The more Reiki you get, the more you heal, and the more Reiki energy flows through you to help others heal.
Having two, four, six, or even more therapists working on you simultaneously can be a wonderful and relaxing experience. Even numbers are preferable, but it is not necessary.) For the most part, having multiple therapists working on you at once reduces the time it takes for each therapist to work on one side of your body at a time. For large groups, it's possible to cover every part of a person's body with Reiki and allow them to receive and give it simultaneously.
The typical hand positions don't limit you if you're treating a large group. Spreading out a little is generally more comfortable. The head positions, for example, would make it difficult for four people to work on the head at the same time.
As in hand position 1, have one Practitioner with both hands behind the person's head, and then one on each side with one hand by the person's neck and the other hand by their ear. There will be no treatment for the eyes, but there will be plenty of Reiki to go around if three individuals are treating the head area simultaneously. Then have one person treat the individual's body and legs on either side of the couch, and another person treats the person's feet at the opposite end.
Start your own Reiki group if you like this idea. The other students who took the same course as you or other Reiki practitioners you know could be contacted.
There are instances when it is impossible to treat someone by placing your hands on them, but Reiki may also flow through the aura, so you do not need to be directly beside the person in need of assistance. For instance, if you are at the scene of an accident, it may be inappropriate for you to offer direct assistance (unless you are trained in First Aid), but you can intend that Reiki go to the injured person(s) for their greatest and highest good. Even if they have not requested healing, their Higher Selves will recognize the need and will most likely channel Reiki into them to assist with the shock and agony.
There is no need to extend your hands, simply keep them open, possibly on your lap, and visualize your aura spreading until it reaches the desired recipient(s), and then mentally "turn on" the Reiki by wishing that it flow for the highest and greatest good.
Chanting And Toning With Karuna Reiki
The Karuna Reiki experience taught me that toning or chanting during a Karuna Reiki session causes profound shifts in the healing energy's vibrational frequency. The Mahayana Buddhist tradition of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvhara, who creates the Sound that Illuminates the World, validates this notion.
The Ethics Of Distant Reiki Healing
The Second Degree procedures teach you how to transmit powerful healing to anybody, anywhere, at any time, including the past and future. Using the Distant (Connection) Symbol helps you to construct a bridge between you and the person (or animal) you wish to heal.
Guided Meditation To Help Heal The Shadow Self Can Change Your Life
The shadow self refers to the aspects of ourselves that have been repressed into the unconscious — the aspects of ourselves that we are insecure about, ashamed of, or frustrated with. The shadow self-concept is based on the idea that we metaphorically bury those aspects of our personalities that we fear will not be accepted, accepted, or loved by others; thus, we keep them in the shadows.

Integrative And Functional Medicine —Personalized Care For The 21st Century
The goal of integrative and functional medicine is to get to the root cause of health problems and treat the whole person with a combination of approaches—optimizing health for those who have it and restoring health for those who have lost it. Integrative medicine and functional medicine are often used interchangeably, but the terms are actually referring to two different approaches to patient care.
The Karuna Reiki Attunements
A common belief is that compassionate action is captured in this non-traditional form of Reiki. When used in conjunction with Usui Reiki, it has a powerful effect on its own, but even more so.
Karuna Master Symbols and Their Uses
Other healing systems incorporate the Karuna Reiki Master symbols. For instance, The International Center for Reiki Training incorporates the Usui Dai Ko Myo, Tibetan Dai Ko Mio, and Tibetan Fire Serpent into our Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Training.
Kuan Yin - The Goddess Of Mercy
Kuan Yin is an example of an enlightened being. Bodhisattva, or enlightened being, guards the earth. The Chinese deity Kuan Yin is revered as a symbol of compassion and love.
Possible Side Effects Of A Karuna Reiki Attunement
Becoming a Reiki practitioner with the ability to heal oneself and others is a beautiful path that allows you to make a difference in the world. While it is exciting to receive an attunement in order to increase your frequency and connection to the universal life force energy, these attunements come at a cost.
The Traditional Karuna Reiki Attunements
Karuna is typically only taught to Usui Reiki Master practitioners. There are four levels of Karuna instruction. There are four levels of mastery in this system: two for practitioners and two for masters.
Original Karuna Attunements - The Sai Baba Reiki Attunements
For those wishing to view the original Sai Baba attunement process in order to compare it to later attunements, these are included for informational purposes only. You will notice a resemblance between these and the attunements developed later.
