A Reiki attunement ceremony unlocks the energy channels in the body, allowing the learner to more efficiently channel Reiki energy. This permanent enhancement of one's capacity to channel Reiki is permanent and lasts a lifetime.
It is critical to understand that attunements do not automatically transform the pupil into a healer. The pupil serves as a receptacle for the healer's Reiki energy. The receiver draws the energy in, guided by the global intellect aware of what has to be handled.
The attunement procedure and symbols utilized by each Reiki Master will differ. For a long time, Masters were prohibited from taking notes or retaining copies of the symbols. Bear in mind that this does not influence the Reiki attunements' potency or efficacy. The attuned person should be receptive and calm, with the desire/intention to accept the initiation.
To properly attune people to Reiki, a Reiki Master must be calm, open, and confident to share and use the gift of Reiki on oneself and others. The Reiki attunement ritual lasts just a few minutes.
If you like, you may request that your student remove any jewelry, glasses, or shoes. According to some, jewelry and metal may disrupt energy flow, and that the metal itself contains energy. Shoes are said to be removed to aid in grounding during the attunement. In my experience, the ceremony may be completed properly without jewelry or shoes.
The student will sit in a chair with their feet flat on the floor throughout the ceremony. Their hands will be in front of their chests in prayer posture, palms together.
While Hui Yin and Violet Breath are not conventional Reiki treatments, they are often employed. You may choose to employ them during passing attunements since some believe that these procedures result in more potent attunements.
The Hui Yin is a site linked with the Microcosmic Orbit qigong practice. It is believed that when this approach is used, higher frequency energy becomes a part of the attunement process. You may experiment with the strategies and observe your pupils' reactions. These strategies are used to execute the attunements taught in this course.
Please keep in mind that your intention is critical, and you should not be alarmed if you have difficulty using the Hui Yin and Violet Breath during your attunements on others. If you discover that using the Hui Yin and Violet Breath methods complicates the attunement process, refrain from doing so. It is more critical for you to maintain a peaceful and present state of mind while focusing on handing on the gift of Reiki. Dr. Usui did not use this technique.
The Hui Yin point is situated between the anus and genitals and is the meridian's initial point (Conception Vessel). It is the intersection of three significant meridians (Ren, Du and Chong-Conception, Governing and Penetrating). To conduct the method, constrict the Hui Yin point and put the tongue against the soft palate (behind the upper teeth).
To apply the Hui Yin method effectively, you should practice establishing the control necessary to maintain the point for extended periods. This control may be developed by engaging the muscles in this location. This is comparable to pelvic floor and kegel exercises. As with other workouts, begin softly and contract lightly. Avoid straining and injuring yourself. You may practice consistently contracting these muscles throughout the day.
To do the Violet Breath:
Now imagine the white mist filling your head and transforming into blue, then indigo, as the energy begins to spiral clockwise. As the mist swirls, see how it changes color to violet.
Visualize the golden Dumo sign among the violet mist. Following that, infuse the Dumo sign and Violet Breath into the student's chakras, particularly the crown chakra, from which you will project the symbol while discreetly intone the symbol's name.
You interact with an energy that is wise beyond comprehension throughout the attunement ritual. As an experienced Reiki master, you will let your intuition lead you more than protocol.
Chanting And Toning With Karuna Reiki
The Karuna Reiki experience taught me that toning or chanting during a Karuna Reiki session causes profound shifts in the healing energy's vibrational frequency. The Mahayana Buddhist tradition of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvhara, who creates the Sound that Illuminates the World, validates this notion.
The Ethics Of Distant Reiki Healing
The Second Degree procedures teach you how to transmit powerful healing to anybody, anywhere, at any time, including the past and future. Using the Distant (Connection) Symbol helps you to construct a bridge between you and the person (or animal) you wish to heal.
Guided Meditation To Help Heal The Shadow Self Can Change Your Life
The shadow self refers to the aspects of ourselves that have been repressed into the unconscious — the aspects of ourselves that we are insecure about, ashamed of, or frustrated with. The shadow self-concept is based on the idea that we metaphorically bury those aspects of our personalities that we fear will not be accepted, accepted, or loved by others; thus, we keep them in the shadows.

Integrative And Functional Medicine —Personalized Care For The 21st Century
The goal of integrative and functional medicine is to get to the root cause of health problems and treat the whole person with a combination of approaches—optimizing health for those who have it and restoring health for those who have lost it. Integrative medicine and functional medicine are often used interchangeably, but the terms are actually referring to two different approaches to patient care.
The Karuna Reiki Attunements
A common belief is that compassionate action is captured in this non-traditional form of Reiki. When used in conjunction with Usui Reiki, it has a powerful effect on its own, but even more so.
Karuna Master Symbols and Their Uses
Other healing systems incorporate the Karuna Reiki Master symbols. For instance, The International Center for Reiki Training incorporates the Usui Dai Ko Myo, Tibetan Dai Ko Mio, and Tibetan Fire Serpent into our Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Training.
Kuan Yin - The Goddess Of Mercy
Kuan Yin is an example of an enlightened being. Bodhisattva, or enlightened being, guards the earth. The Chinese deity Kuan Yin is revered as a symbol of compassion and love.
Possible Side Effects Of A Karuna Reiki Attunement
Becoming a Reiki practitioner with the ability to heal oneself and others is a beautiful path that allows you to make a difference in the world. While it is exciting to receive an attunement in order to increase your frequency and connection to the universal life force energy, these attunements come at a cost.
The Traditional Karuna Reiki Attunements
Karuna is typically only taught to Usui Reiki Master practitioners. There are four levels of Karuna instruction. There are four levels of mastery in this system: two for practitioners and two for masters.
Original Karuna Attunements - The Sai Baba Reiki Attunements
For those wishing to view the original Sai Baba attunement process in order to compare it to later attunements, these are included for informational purposes only. You will notice a resemblance between these and the attunements developed later.
