How To Do The Reiki Master Level Attunement?

After receiving one attunement to the Master sign Dai Ko Myo, a student advances to the Master/Teacher Level of the practice. In this attunement, the primary focus is on enabling the learner to create a discerning vision and compassion with the intention of assisting people in need.
For a period of time before this attunement, both the Master and student will sit in meditation to connect with the Reiki energy. The ceremony will commence as soon as the link has been established. The learner will be seated on a chair, with his or her hands in the Gassho posture.
Reiki Master Level Attunement
Step 1
Walk around the student's back in a counter-clockwise direction. Inhale deeply and hold it for a moment while inserting the tip of your tongue beneath the top front teeth of your mouth. Raise your non-dominant arm so that the palm of your hand is facing up and open. If possible, draw the DKM symbol above the student's head chakra using your dominant hand. Reach forward with both hands and clasp the student's hands. Take a deep inhale and blow above the student's head into the student's crown chakra, then exhale through your mouth.
Step 2
Use the DKM symbol to complete all four of the Level I attunements. Prior to working with their hands, you will blow into the student's head chakra before stepping to the front of the student and working with them. Therefore, the pupil will be required to breathe into the Crown Chakra four more times from the rear of his or her body.
Step 3
The DKM may be used to perform the Level II attunement. Before walking to the student's side, blow into the student's head chakra. The DKM should be drawn into the student's hands and placed within yours after the three symbols have been drawn and their hands have been placed within yours. Blow from the student's root chakra to the third-eye chakra, passing through all of the student's other chakras.
Step 4
Take a step back and place the student's hands over their heart. The attunement can be completed when you are ready to be fully present. When the attunement is over, you might say something like, "This is the end of the first attunement." Ask the learner about the sensations, images, or experiences that occurred during the attunement if you have some free time. Discussions like this allow students to reflect on their experiences and provide proof that "the attunement worked."
Reiki's healing power may be channeled via a master who has received this attunement since it aligns their energy with their higher self.
