After successful completion of Reiki 2, you are eligible to become a Reiki Therapist. The Academy of Reiki offers those who have successfully completed Reiki 2, the opportunity to become an Accredited Therapist with them.

Accredited Therapists of the Academy are working towards a common goal - to make a difference in the world using Reiki as the vehicle for change. While striving to live Reiki in all aspects of their lives, they acknowledge the need for individual integrity and ethical standards in the practice of Reiki. They are also community-oriented with a strong service ethic, offering a high standard of professional treatment.

Accredited Reiki therapists of the Academy, are required to:

• Complete training with the Academy of Reiki
• Offer the highest standards of treatment within their practise
• Hold membership with a reputable Reiki Association
• Abide by the Association's 'Code of Practice' and 'Code of Ethics'

Requirements:

• Completion of Reiki Level 2
• To join a reputable Reiki association
• To be covered by Liability Insurance

Then, while studying various health systems she was so impressed by the fact that Reiki, in addition to being a "self help" system, is easy to learn and simple to use, that she decided to become a Reiki Master in order to pass its benefits on to others.

Dorothy soon achieved this ambition and became a Reiki Master and Teacher and author of the highly successful book on Reiki - "REIKI - The Energy of Life in the Spirit of Love"

Apart from being an active sportswoman, Megan has four children and so, naturally, requires a lot of energy in her day to day life.
