To continue, I'd like to share this lovely piece by Dr. Mikao Usui.
The secret art of inviting happiness
The miraculous medicine of all diseases
Just for today, do not anger
Do not worry and be filed with gratitude
Devote yourself to your work. Be kind to people.
Because of the large number of translations, each with its own collection of revisions, the five concepts have evolved into slightly different interpretations over time.
The translation that was given to me is as follows:
These principles are Dr. Usui's suggestions for how to live a happy life, and they are not dependent on Reiki skills to be effective. Since recognizing that true spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being begins when we take care of our own well-being, he developed these ideas.
What is the source of your concern? We are concerned and we are afraid of an uncertain future. We have the ability to see a future in our hearts, but it will not materialize until we do. As a result, we often imagine issues that do not occur. The world is a conundrum.
Worrying about it contributes to the "self-fulfilling prophecy" we're attempting to avoid. When we worry, we create a mental response to something that hasn't happened yet. This implies that we are experiencing the emotion previous to the process. This is such that we can be ready for the worst-case situation.
When we prepare for the worst, we get a taste of what it's like to be in that situation. This emotion is stored in our memory and recalled if we recall the situation.
If this feeling has been evoked, it's impossible to imagine the future from a new perspective. As a consequence, we're creating the world we're trying to avoid. A feeling of separation and distance is always the source of worry.
When we're alone, we still feel weak and powerless, and we worry about our ability to carry the burden of life, unaware that we already have everything we need. We complain of what we won't get tomorrow instead of what we have now because tomorrow is just a thought and today is a fact. Since we are scared of the unknown, we want more than we need to survive.
This is a common mentality in the West, and it has unwittingly resulted in global hunger, war, and economic inequity. This causes us anxiety because we don't want to end up as someone who is hungry or poor, so we accumulate more and more possessions to ensure that we not only succeed but do so happily. Don't be concerned; this time will come to an end.
Allowing ourselves to let go of fear encourages us to trust that we will be able to handle whatever life throws at us in the future. The more we allow ourselves to think we can survive, the closer we get to a normal state of harmony.
Peace does not mean that we do not face challenges; rather, it means that we remain peaceful in the face of them.
So, what exactly is anger? Rage is an emotion, not an action. We are the ones that irritate people. We don't have the opportunity to be angry from birth.
Our bodies tense up, our heart rates increase, our thoughts become clouded, and we either swallow the anger or try to pass it on to someone else; our brains create hormones that make us feel angry; our bodies tense up, our heart rates rise, our thoughts become clouded, and we either swallow the rage or try to pass it on to someone else.
When we swallow it, it is very dangerous to our physical and mental health. When we want to give that to others, we find that in order for them to feel frustrated, they must first build up anger in their minds.
They want to pass their frustration into us if they intend to inflict rage. In essence, we're all hurling negative energies at one another.
In order to do so, we must first generate the necessary electricity. Negativity is toxic to our mind, body, and soul for whatever purpose because it never ever leaves us. The more we create, the better it gets.
Over time, it becomes a part of our autonomic reaction system. This suggests that we generalize and respond with a preset response rather than thinking about each case as special and reacting accordingly.
If our predetermined response is anger, we will become angry people. The terms "rage" and "frustration" are not interchangeable. Frustration will make you view problems from a new perspective. Rage is the product of our inability to look through our first impressions.
To avoid being enraged, we need to change how we think about what makes us angry. We must decide whether to hold on to anger or let it go because it is a mental state. By identifying the cause of our indignation and examining it from a new perspective, we will determine whether it has any true meaning and set it free.
This isn't about a message of gratitude to the universe. This is the realization that everything we require right now has been delivered.
We are thankful for the chance to call this nation home. We are grateful for the chance to live. We congratulate ourselves for what we have and we are the vehicles of the cosmos.
This statement can be read as "I live my life honestly." This is in reference to our "life's work," which has little to do with the religious or political values standards adhered to by "corporate America." This literally means we must be truthful about ourselves and others.
We do not keep our secrets hidden from ourselves or others. Only by being honest about ourselves will we change. If we are sincere about all aspects of our lives, we have a foundation on which to build our lives.
Dr. Usui's fifth and final Reiki Theory teaches us how to care for ourselves and everything around us.
"Kindness" is the term for this type of conduct. Kindness is a skill that can be learned rather than something that can be bestowed. Since kindness is a state of being rather than an action, this is the case.
We must all cultivate love within ourselves by acknowledging that we are all following the same divine path at varying points in our lives. In some way, we are all connected. We're all fine.
When we are kind, even in the midst of suffering, kindness becomes a permanent part of our autonomic reaction system. We become good people as we get older.
This does not imply that we should let others walk all over us; we must first be kind to ourselves. Kindness encourages people to act in ways that are beneficial to their mental health.
We honor all that is by living in goodness, driven by our spirit's love and compassion. We give thanks for all that keeps us safe, including the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and everything else.
Anything surrounding us is a living being as perceived at the atomic level, so our kindness and respect must be unconditional.
Chanting And Toning With Karuna Reiki
The Karuna Reiki experience taught me that toning or chanting during a Karuna Reiki session causes profound shifts in the healing energy's vibrational frequency. The Mahayana Buddhist tradition of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvhara, who creates the Sound that Illuminates the World, validates this notion.
The Ethics Of Distant Reiki Healing
The Second Degree procedures teach you how to transmit powerful healing to anybody, anywhere, at any time, including the past and future. Using the Distant (Connection) Symbol helps you to construct a bridge between you and the person (or animal) you wish to heal.
Guided Meditation To Help Heal The Shadow Self Can Change Your Life
The shadow self refers to the aspects of ourselves that have been repressed into the unconscious — the aspects of ourselves that we are insecure about, ashamed of, or frustrated with. The shadow self-concept is based on the idea that we metaphorically bury those aspects of our personalities that we fear will not be accepted, accepted, or loved by others; thus, we keep them in the shadows.
How To Build A Successful Reiki Practice - FAQs
After you've mastered the techniques necessary to perform Reiki on others in-person and remotely, it is entirely up to you to decide whether Reiki is something you wish to pursue as a more formal public practice.
Integrative And Functional Medicine —Personalized Care For The 21st Century
The goal of integrative and functional medicine is to get to the root cause of health problems and treat the whole person with a combination of approaches—optimizing health for those who have it and restoring health for those who have lost it. Integrative medicine and functional medicine are often used interchangeably, but the terms are actually referring to two different approaches to patient care.
The Karuna Reiki Attunements
A common belief is that compassionate action is captured in this non-traditional form of Reiki. When used in conjunction with Usui Reiki, it has a powerful effect on its own, but even more so.
Karuna Master Symbols and Their Uses
Other healing systems incorporate the Karuna Reiki Master symbols. For instance, The International Center for Reiki Training incorporates the Usui Dai Ko Myo, Tibetan Dai Ko Mio, and Tibetan Fire Serpent into our Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Training.
Kuan Yin - The Goddess Of Mercy
Kuan Yin is an example of an enlightened being. Bodhisattva, or enlightened being, guards the earth. The Chinese deity Kuan Yin is revered as a symbol of compassion and love.
Possible Side Effects Of A Karuna Reiki Attunement
Becoming a Reiki practitioner with the ability to heal oneself and others is a beautiful path that allows you to make a difference in the world. While it is exciting to receive an attunement in order to increase your frequency and connection to the universal life force energy, these attunements come at a cost.
The Traditional Karuna Reiki Attunements
Karuna is typically only taught to Usui Reiki Master practitioners. There are four levels of Karuna instruction. There are four levels of mastery in this system: two for practitioners and two for masters.
Original Karuna Attunements - The Sai Baba Reiki Attunements
For those wishing to view the original Sai Baba attunement process in order to compare it to later attunements, these are included for informational purposes only. You will notice a resemblance between these and the attunements developed later.
