How To Prepare For Master Training

It is possible to complete Reiki Master training in the West in just a few weeks, or it can take a long period and be highly extensive. In that case, I demand that you have at least three years of experience as a Reiki practitioner, preferably as a professional practitioner, before accepting you for Master's training.
You can either go quickly, completing all three levels in a few months, weeks, even days. You can go slowly, taking as long as you need between initiations. All soul-level experiences are authentic. So no matter what road you take, you will always be traveling in the right direction. Humans must adjust quickly to huge shifts in vibrational frequencies. Thus the fast track may not always be beneficial. As a result, you may undergo rapid and unpleasant detoxification of both your bodily and spiritual bodies. Changes are inevitable after becoming a Reiki Master, but how quickly they occur varies.
For at least a year before the early 1990s, the most common method of master training used by Reiki Alliance Masters was the apprenticeship system. A student master worked alongside an experienced master who was already well-versed in teaching Reiki 1 and 2, gradually gaining knowledge and confidence as they went along.
Each initiate is given the Master Symbol and the Master attunement when their initiating Master feels they are ready. The first two levels of attunement are also taught to them (and practiced with their initiating Master in Reiki sessions). However, the Third Degree attunement technique is frequently not taught until several years later, when the newly qualified Reiki Master has gained considerable experience.
Due to the inefficiency of having more than a few "trainees" working with a Master on each Reiki course, this system is used by very few masters today, even if they are all members of the Reiki Alliance. Taking a short course to obtain the abilities required for the Reiki Master's degree is becoming more prevalent than taking a longer course to learn the skills required for the first two levels of Reiki. Given that course, lengths range from one day to ten to fourteen days, with an average of three days, a wide range of content, style, and quality may be covered in a training session.
The price of becoming a Master can range from as little as £100 (about $160) to as much as £6,000 (about $10,000). In other words, charging a high fee does not guarantee that the Master is a skilled teacher or that the Master charging a low price is an ineffective instructor, or that the Master offers inadequate education.
There are as many Reiki Master varieties as in any other profession. Many skilled and experienced Reiki teachers charge reasonable fees, whereas others who have little experience and provide poor assistance charge excessive fees for lack of knowledge. I'm afraid it's up to you to decide which is better. The best course of action is to sit in silence and talk to your Higher Self about it.
