Here are some techniques to finish your Reiki session with your client. This will help you to understand what to do after the treatment.
Smoothing the person's aura three times is a beautiful approach in completing the Reiki session. There may be some little agitation in your aura if Reiki is not used to activate and remove bad energy from your physical body and then release them into your aura, where they can be released. When the aura is smoothed down, the energies settle, and any negative energy still clinging to its inner layers can be detached. As a bonus, it aids the client's reawakening from the treatment's deep relaxation, which could otherwise leave them "spaced out."
To mimic the natural flow of Ki, begin at the top of the body and work your way down. The opposite can happen if you do it the other way around. Begin at the crown of your head and shake your hands downward, beyond the soles of your feet, to disperse any negative energy. Keep your hands about 30 cm (12 in) above the body. It's best to do this three times.
Touch their shoulder and softly whisper their name, and gently rouse them. Instead of rushing, softly massage the client's feet if they are still having trouble "coming around." Offer a bottle of water and help them sit up when they're ready. To help the body flush out any toxins that the Reiki may have dislodged, tell them to drink plenty of water for the next few days and consult their doctor if they have any health issues that may be impacted.
People generally want to chat about their treatment experience and how they feel just following during this time. They may also ask about your experiences, such as where you felt "blocks" and whether you thought those energies were balanced. The ability to interpret varied feelings and energy patterns requires time and practice. Because energy sensations might signify many things, they may be experienced and interpreted differently by each Practitioner and client.
These difficulties must be handled with care. Unless you are a doctor, you should never try to diagnose a client's ailment, but you can ask how they felt about certain parts of their body. Ask whether they've had any challenges, and then talk about the causes of illness and the messages and lessons it delivers. Suggestions for books to help kids understand their bodies are listed in the Resources section.
Healing someone doesn't mean you are responsible for their well-being, but they are. Also, frightening or offending others is irresponsible. Taking a counseling course can be highly beneficial, especially if you plan to work as a therapist. A person's physical (or mental) health may be questioned if they do not react to Reiki treatments. In this case, you should suggest softly, discreetly, and reassuringly seeking medical assistance "just to be safe." But don't worry too much. As a "channel" for Divinely guided healing energy, trust Reiki to perform its job.
Reiki has created an energy shift that has allowed the healing to permeate through the blockages slowly until the cause reaches the person's consciousness, ready to be released. Often days or weeks after a Reiki treatment, a person can suddenly gain insight into whatever problem area they need help with.
Treatment can leave you feeling energetic or tired, and serene. Please "ground" the person's energies before letting them depart if they appear "spaced out." Sit with your feet flat on the floor. You can ground a person by placing one hand on their feet and visualizing energy pouring out of their soles into the earth below. This simple workout restores people's normalcy in minutes. You can also get them to stand up and march on the spot if they're still a little dizzy. Whenever they lift their left knee, they should touch it with their right hand. This is great for balancing the body's two halves. They can help direct the force downward by stamping their feet as they place them. Just a minute of this exercise should be sufficient.
Please don't forget yourself after treatment. Every treatment requires a glass of water, as well as some self-cleansing. I recommend Reiki Shower and Dry Brushing. You may also like to give yourself Reiki and spend some time in quiet reflection or meditation.
Chanting And Toning With Karuna Reiki
The Karuna Reiki experience taught me that toning or chanting during a Karuna Reiki session causes profound shifts in the healing energy's vibrational frequency. The Mahayana Buddhist tradition of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvhara, who creates the Sound that Illuminates the World, validates this notion.
The Ethics Of Distant Reiki Healing
The Second Degree procedures teach you how to transmit powerful healing to anybody, anywhere, at any time, including the past and future. Using the Distant (Connection) Symbol helps you to construct a bridge between you and the person (or animal) you wish to heal.
Guided Meditation To Help Heal The Shadow Self Can Change Your Life
The shadow self refers to the aspects of ourselves that have been repressed into the unconscious — the aspects of ourselves that we are insecure about, ashamed of, or frustrated with. The shadow self-concept is based on the idea that we metaphorically bury those aspects of our personalities that we fear will not be accepted, accepted, or loved by others; thus, we keep them in the shadows.

Integrative And Functional Medicine —Personalized Care For The 21st Century
The goal of integrative and functional medicine is to get to the root cause of health problems and treat the whole person with a combination of approaches—optimizing health for those who have it and restoring health for those who have lost it. Integrative medicine and functional medicine are often used interchangeably, but the terms are actually referring to two different approaches to patient care.
The Karuna Reiki Attunements
A common belief is that compassionate action is captured in this non-traditional form of Reiki. When used in conjunction with Usui Reiki, it has a powerful effect on its own, but even more so.
Karuna Master Symbols and Their Uses
Other healing systems incorporate the Karuna Reiki Master symbols. For instance, The International Center for Reiki Training incorporates the Usui Dai Ko Myo, Tibetan Dai Ko Mio, and Tibetan Fire Serpent into our Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Training.
Kuan Yin - The Goddess Of Mercy
Kuan Yin is an example of an enlightened being. Bodhisattva, or enlightened being, guards the earth. The Chinese deity Kuan Yin is revered as a symbol of compassion and love.
Possible Side Effects Of A Karuna Reiki Attunement
Becoming a Reiki practitioner with the ability to heal oneself and others is a beautiful path that allows you to make a difference in the world. While it is exciting to receive an attunement in order to increase your frequency and connection to the universal life force energy, these attunements come at a cost.
The Traditional Karuna Reiki Attunements
Karuna is typically only taught to Usui Reiki Master practitioners. There are four levels of Karuna instruction. There are four levels of mastery in this system: two for practitioners and two for masters.
Original Karuna Attunements - The Sai Baba Reiki Attunements
For those wishing to view the original Sai Baba attunement process in order to compare it to later attunements, these are included for informational purposes only. You will notice a resemblance between these and the attunements developed later.
